The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium Has New Shark Tunnel Lifted Through the Roof of the New Building to Put It into Place

Media invited to video the lifting of the shark tunnel into the new building. Video and Photo Opportunity: The shark tunnel will be lifted starting at 7:30 a.m. barring weather, construction or other unforeseen other delays. The lift is estimated to take between 15 and 30 minutes.

Draper, UT- September 23, 2013 The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium will be lifting the new 40 foot shark tunnel weighing over 26,000 pounds through the roof into the new aquarium Wednesday September 25, 2013 at 7:30 a.m. at their new location: 12033 Lone Peak Parkway in Draper, UT.

Living Planet Aquarium Introduces Lancer Hospitality as New Food Service and Catering Partner

Sandy, UT (May 13, 2013) – The Living Planet Aquarium is pleased to announce a partnership with Lancer Hospitality to provide exclusive food service and catering at the new Loveland Living Planet Aquarium which is currently under construction in Draper and scheduled to open December 2013. The Aquarium and Lancer are in the design and construction phase for the new space that will include a cafĂ© and banquet facilities as well as gallery space for formal and informal catered events, including weddings and corporate events.

Castle Dale 4th Grade Students Assist Utah Aquarium in Creating Educational Exhibit for Aquarium Expansion

Sandy, UT (May 2, 2013) – Castle Dale Elementary School 4th grade students will assist in creating an exhibit about ocean water pressure on Tuesday, May 7 at 10:30 a.m. at The Living Planet Aquarium, located at 725 E. 10600 S. in Sandy, Utah. The exhibit will be an educational feature in the Deep Sea Gallery at the new Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, a 136,000 square-foot, $24 million expansion scheduled to open December 2013 in Draper.
