The new Living Planet Aquarium is an iconic and unique building encompassing over 130,000 square feet. It provides a new and exciting activity in which the whole family can participate throughout the entire year. It offers educational programs, field trips and the hands-on learning that would not otherwise be accessible to Utah's children. Where else could children in our state walk through a tropical rainforest, touch a starfish or pet a stingray?

"The sequencer takes the voltage the eel produces and operates circuitry that flashes the lights, fast or slow, based on the level of voltage he puts out. said Terry Smith, Project Manager at Cache Valley Electric.

Few animals convey a sense of joy and spontaneity like otters. Visitors to The Living Planet Aquarium this year will have three new animals and a unique experience to enjoy. The playful river otter, native to Utah, promises new opportunities for wild discovery and fun animal observation.
